
Promotion to Associate: Alberto, Nick and Valentina
We are pleased to announce that three key staff members, Alberto, Nick and Valentina, have been promoted to Associate!
As the end of 2022 approaches GB Card & Partners are happy to reflect on an extremely successful year. The company has had a multitude of exciting projects across the UK and the technical expertise of our staff continue to develop and impress.
Alberto Cazzaniga is the Geo Environmental Discipline Lead for GB Card & Partners and is also celebrating becoming chartered in September 2022.
Alberto has consolidated his project management skills and knowledge of ground investigation, hydrogeology, DQRA for groundwater and ground gas, in-situ remediation techniques and design of gas ground protection measures with over 16 years’ experience in contaminated land projects in the UK, EU and overseas.
Valentina Osella is the South East Lead heading up our Canterbury office which celebrates it’s 1 year anniversary this week.
Valentina has an extensive experience in ground investigation in a diverse range of brownfields, particularly former quarries and landfills, geotechnical design, ground improvement works and implementation of sustainable remediation techniques under the Planning Framework and the Environmental Permitting Regulations. She has been a project manager for over 10 years and has been a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) since 2020.
Nick Bonner is the Ground Investigation Lead and oversees some of our biggest London projects and is an expert on complex geotechnical and geo-environmental remediation and ground investigation projects.
With over 16 years’ experience, Nick has worked within a wide range of environments including over water jack-up platforms, tidal culverts, reservoirs, floodplains, street works, gas holder sites, London Underground and Network Rail infrastructure, schools, agricultural and commercial areas, and greenfield sites.
