A Warm GB Card & Partners Welcome to Kirsten

GBCP are delighted to welcome new employee Kirsten who has over 20 years’ experience in Geo-Environmental Consultancy.

This has included dealing with Phase 1, Phase 2 GI and reporting. Kirsten also worked on the Olympic site dealing with initial remedial works over two years. Kirsten’s most interesting project has been working in Georgia (near Russia) on installing monitoring wells and monitoring water quality during the installation of gas infrastructure to pipe gas across the country.

Most recently Kirsten has spent 5 years at Soils Limited working as a lead estimator, overseeing quotes and developing new work opportunities.

GB Card & Partners Shortlisted for Industry Award

GB Card & Partners has been shortlisted to be named the ‘Best Place to Work SME’ at New Civil Engineer Awards.

The NCE Awards is one of the U|K engineering industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony that recognises standout achievements from companies and individuals within the engineering sector.

The award recognises a small and medium sized enterprise (SME) engineering consultancy firm which demonstrates it is an exemplary place to work.

GB Card & Partners, established in 2010, is an award-winning specialist engineering consultancy based in London, Exeter and Kent with an outstanding national and international reputation for delivering solutions to challenging civil and environmental engineering problems and is comprised of chartered professionals, with backgrounds in engineering, geology and sciences, with significant experience of the construction and development sectors.

New Civil Engineer is the monthly magazine for members of the Institution of Civil Engineers, the UK chartered body that oversees the practice of civil engineering in the UK. First published in May 1972, it is today published by Metropolis.

The winners will be announced at the New Civil Engineer Awards on Thursday 3 July at the Hilton London Bankside.


Welcome Hannah

Welcome to our new Associate Director Hannah, who brings over 22 years of UK-based and international experience to the table. As a Chartered Engineering Geologist and ground engineering specialist, Hannah specialises in various core competencies, including project management, asset management, and risk identification and mitigation. With a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering successful projects from inception to construction, Hannah exemplifies the leadership and dedication that drives our company forward.

Hannah lives with her young family and she’s currently exploring her passion for music by learning to play the piano.
