GB Card & Partners joined thousands of cyclists today from all over the world for Global Bike to Work Day – the entire team in Exeter commutes to the office by bike and we’ve posted before about our self set target of 10,000 miles this year.  With the summer months fast approaching we’re well on target with 3,728 miles covered in the saddle so far this year!

The Institution of Civil Engineers has announced that Project Wareham has been shortlisted for the ICE South West Civil Engineering Awards 2017.  GB Card & Partners has supported Swanage Railway over a number of years on this civil engineering project to restore and upgrade three miles of track and structures to reconnect the branch line to the mainline at Wareham.  Completion of the project will allow a daily rail transport link to be established, connecting the communities of Swanage and the Isle of Purbeck to the business communities around Poole, Bournemouth and Southampton.  More information can be found on our Case Studies page.
