A massive congratulations to our Principal Consultant Alberto who this summer successfully became Chartered.

Alberto has been registered by the Society for the Environment as a Chartered Environmentalist. This accreditation will add to Alberto’s competencies in being the Geo Environmental Discipline Lead for GB Card & Partners.

After a period of inactivity, the ICE Exeter City Club is back on its feet again starting with a social networking event at the Mill on the Exe on Thursday 25th August from 6 pm. Join our team at the event, including our Geotechnical Design Engineer Jola Brown, who has become a part of the restored committee. This kick-starting event aims to bring like-minded Engineers together to stay connected and network with other ICE members in the local area.

This will hopefully be the first of many events, as the Exeter City Club looks to revive a programme of regular activities on the final Thursday of each calendar month.
No booking is required for the event, just turn up to the venue and look out for a table with the ICE logo. This event is open to all ICE members and those interested in joining.

Last Summer GB Card & Partners welcomed Danni & Jola to the company and a year on they have both proved to be great assets to the company.

Both graduates from Cardiff University, Danni with a First-Class Honours with a BSc in Environmental Geoscience and Jola with a First-Class MEng Civil and Environmental Engineering degree but thanks to COVID their graduations had been delayed. Last week they finally got to attend their graduation ceremonies at the landmark Principality Stadium (formerly Millennium Stadium) in Cardiff. An exciting day for both of them and a chance to finally celebrate their achievements and years of hard work.

As well as enjoying their graduation ceremonies Danni & Jola have further reasons to celebrate as their hard work continues to pay off as they have both recently received promotions, Danni to Geo-Environmental Engineer and Jola to Geotechnical Design Engineer. Their contributions to GB Card & Partners since joining have been outstanding and we’re looking forward to seeing them continue to flourish.
