In July, the whole company met in Exeter to share information and allow new staff to meet the rest of the team. The day started with a pasty lunch and then a review of the first five years of GB Card & Partners. The current position of the Company was shared before taking a brief look at plans for the next five years. This was followed by us retiring to The Beach House in Exmouth, where we were met by Geoff Bowen, a hydro-geologist turned vintner, who led us through a wine tasting tour of his superb range of wines accompanying some fine cuisine prepared by his French chef. The planned boat tour along the Jurassic Coast the following morning had to be abandoned due to the sea conditions which, with hindsight, wasn’t such a bad thing!

GB Card & Partners welcomes Laura Bacon into the role of Principal Engineer. Laura, a Chartered Geologist and UK Registered Ground Engineering Professional, joins the company in the Exeter office to support work locally, in the South East and overseas. Laura brings with her a variety of technical and management skills and will be working on some of our key projects. Her application to join the team was timely as we look to develop our business strategy for the next five years. Over the coming months, further positions are expected to be filled in Exeter and Surbiton.

To celebrate our 5th year in business and with an ever expanding team both in London and Exeter we decided that it was time for an update!  So to mark this special occasion, we are very excited to welcome you to of our new website!

The website has been developed to provide a better feel for the services we can offer whilst showcasing some of our latest projects.… and for those on the move our new site is optimized to be responsive across a variety of mobile devices!
